Getting outside is one of our favorite ways to explore as a family. On a day to day basis this mostly looks like taking walks and going to the dog park, but when we're traveling we make sure we find a hike or two wherever we are! When we were chatting on Sunday about our favorite hikes, the list seemed never ending. I inevitably am going to remember one that I wish I included but here are 8 of our Favorite Hikes from all over the World.

1. Delicate Arch, Arches National Park

There's a reason that in a park with over 2000 arches, Delicate Arch shines. It's the perfect place to hang out, eat a snack and enjoy the sunset. It definitely triggered my fear of heights until I saw a little girl cartwheeling on her way back down.

2. Hubelweg-First, Switzerland

The views the whole way up and down were amazing. Almost as good as the chocolate and cheese we brought. We made the rookie mistake of not checking the weather before we left and were caught in a thunderstorm. There was NO ONE else on the mountain outside of our group of four which made it equal parts amazing and scary.

This place is usually packed but the four of us had it all to ourselves!

During the summer there is a gondola that takes you right to the top! It wasn't operating during our trip in October but the hike was well worth it!

3. Devil's Bridge, Sedona

There are so many beautiful hikes in Sedona, but we loved Devil's Bridge. It's definitely a more congested hike because it's so popular but it was memorable, great for people watching and had incredible views.

4. The Old Man of Storr

I wanted to stop every 15 seconds on this hike to take pictures because it just got prettier and prettier. We had Sunny in tow, and Aaron carried her the entire way up! We took a few short breaks to feed her but she mostly slept and enjoyed the outdoors. Here's a post about our experience traveling through the U.K. with our 6 month old!

5. Artists Pallette, Death Valley National Park

This hike is perfectly named as it really looks like these rocks have been painted. I grew up in Las Vegas and I had no idea this was basically in our backyard. It was such a blast climbing around in here and enjoying all the colors.

6. Fagradalsfjall Volcano, Iceland

We feel really lucky we were able to see an active volcano in Iceland. We did this hike twice because it was just that amazing. We have a whole post here on some of our favorite spots in Iceland, but this hike was memorable to say the least.

7. Little Wild Horse Bell Canyon Trail, UT

We stopped here on our way to Arches National Park and I'm so glad we did. If you've hiked through a slot canyon before you might not be as impressed, but we loved it. We didn't do the full loop because we also wanted to have time to see Goblin Valley - which I almost included on this list because it's like nothing I've ever seen but I didn't because we feel like it technically isn't a hike. Both are worth seeing!

8. Light House Keeper's Trail, South Africa

At Cape Point, the ocean views are majestic. Aaron said it almost felt surreal. It's an easy hike and we did pay to take the funicular up because that seemed like an experience in and of itself. Keep your eyes peeled for baboons! They are cute, but dangerous!
